젊은 직업인으로서 저는 제 인생의 방향을 영원히 바꿔 놓을 정치적 위기에 처해 있을 것이라고는 전혀 예상하지 못했습니다. 하지만 제가 오스트리아로 이민하기로 결정했을 때 바로 그런 일이 일어났습니다.
당시 저는 우크라이나의 소규모 스타트업에서 소프트웨어 엔지니어로 일하고 있었습니다. 그 일은 도전적이고 보람 있는 일이었지만, 나는 표면 바로 아래에서 끓어오르는 정치적, 사회적 긴장과 끊임없이 씨름하고 있음을 깨달았습니다. 우크라이나 시민으로서 저는 러시아와의 지속적인 갈등, 정치적 불안정과 폭력의 끊임없는 위협을 절실히 인식하고 있었습니다.
그래서 오스트리아 기술 회사에서 일하겠다는 제안을 받았을 때 저는 이제 기회를 잡을 때가 되었다는 것을 알았습니다. 믿음의 도약과 내 인생의 새로운 장을 시작합니다. 정치적 혼란에서 벗어나 좀 더 평화롭고 번영하는 나라에서 안정을 찾는다는 생각은 믿을 수 없을 만큼 매력적이었습니다.
그러나 오스트리아로의 여정에는 어려움이 없었습니다. 비자와 취업 허가를 받는 과정은 복잡하고 시간이 많이 걸렸으며, 그 과정에서 수많은 장애물에 직면했습니다.

As a Ukrainian citizen, I was acutely aware of the ongoing conflict with Russia, and the constant threat of political instability and violence.
So when I received an offer to work for a Austrian tech company, I knew it was time to take a leap of faith and start a new chapter in my life. The thought of escaping the political turmoil and finding stability in a more peaceful and prosperous country was incredibly appealing.
